Bread of Life - Why We Do What We Do

1.Clap our hand and shout our praise and lift hands:
Psalms 47:1 "Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy."
Psalms 134:2 "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord

2.Pray and Sing in the Spirit:
1 Corinthians 14:2 "For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God."
Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 13:15 refer to singing with hymns, Psalms
and spiritual songs, and to singing with the spirit and also with the understanding. We read in John 4:24
that God is a Spirit, and we must worship him in the spirit and in truth

3. Prophesy: Amos 3:8 "...The Sovereign LORD has spoken-- who can but prophesy?"
1 Corinthians 14:3 "But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encourgement
and comfort."

4. Dance: Psalms 149:2-3 "Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their
King. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tamborine and harp"
